About

Cristina lives and works primarily in New York as a bilingual voiceover actor.  A member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, she has acted on stage, film, television, and commercials.  The majority of her voiceover work is Standard American English or Standard American Spanish with no accent whatsoever.  That said, Cristina is actually a Cuban-American southern belle, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana.  Proud of her unique heritage and skills, Cristina has played many types due to her “ethnically ambiguous” looks, versatile voice, and facility with languages, dialects and accents.  Don’t let her sweet Southern demeanor fool you, she can sound like a loud native New Yorker on demand.

TV credits include “Blue Bloods”, “Boardwalk Empire”, and “Boston Legal”.  Film credits include TOWER HEIST, RAMPART and THE HOT FLASHES.  Stage credits include national tours of Miracle on 34th Street and A Christmas Carol, as well as two years in Tony n Tina’s Wedding.  She has been the featured soloist in cabarets, concerts, and countless private events.

Cristina has her MA in Performance Studies from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and her BFA in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory with an emphasis in Directing and Voice.  Prior to attending the Conservatory, she studied at The University of New Orleans as a music scholarship recipient for Vocal Performance.

Cristina has taught musical theater classes and workshops at MacPhail School of Music, Youth Performance Company, and Minnesota Valley School of Music.  She has directed productions at The Boston Conservatory and NYU as well as showcases and recitals regionally.  Cristina was the dramaturg for the Los Angeles premier of The Drowned World, and the Los Angeles premier of Scarecrow.  She has worked as a casting assistant for feature films and commercials.  As a professional voice teacher and speech coach, she is a member of VASTA.

She is happily married to producer-director-writer, David Woods.  They have a baby girl named Colette and a cat named Chauncey.
